About Judy Dansdill, MA, LMP

Judy’s life experience includes service in the Peace Corps in Liberia, West Africa. For 3 years she assisted the village midwife, worked in a well-baby clinic, and taught health education to women. Upon return to the states, Judy worked as a counselor and supervisor in holistic programs for runaway and emotionally disturbed youth in Colorado and Washington. With an interest in holistic health, Judy earned a MA in Wellness Psychology and Body-Centered Therapy at a Transpersonal Psychology School in Boulder, Colorado. After completion of this degree, Judy’s dreams directed her to the Pacific Northwest. This is where Judy’s massage/bodywork training and career began and continues to thrive. In addition to maintaining a private practice, Judy volunteered chair massage to the parents at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Later she was offered the position as coordinator of the massage student internship program at the hospital. It was Judy’s great joy to witness the students build confidence and develop their massage skills in a professional environment. Along Judy’s journey, she discovered a passion for working with the elder population. For several years she was a part-time caregiver in Seattle. With encouragement from her elders, Judy pursued specialized massage training to serve the elder population. Since 2010 Judy has been the lead massage therapist at Aegis Living in Bellevue and also recently at Aegis on Madison.
